Harold Feinstein | Heart of the Matter

Photo Critic and Curator A.D. Coleman has been working on a book project and traveling exhibition for Panopticon Gallery photographer Harold Feinstein. If you are not familiar with his work, you can see it on our website.

Harold Feinstein, Coney Island Teenagers, 16x20" Gelatin Silver Print

A 65-year retrospective of the work of this distinguished yet under-recognized American photographer and teacher, a member of the legendary Photo League and an exemplar of the New York School. The first extended survey of Feinstein’s entire oeuvre. Accompanied by a full catalogue/monograph, with texts by myself and Feinstein, plus a feature-length documentary film on the photographer. Presently in production; itinerary to be announced. (courtesy A.D. Coleman)
